HjulmandKaptain has assisted Svanehøj Danmark A/S in their acquisition of the Tank Control Systems business from the Finland-based marine equipment and technology firm Wärtsilä.

Svanehøj is a Danish gas pump specialist with its main office situated in Svenstrup in Northern Jutland. The company is involved in the design and manufacture of specialized deep well pump solutions within the areas of gas pumps, fuel pumps, products, chemicals, and offshore products.

The Wärtsilä Tank Control Systems business designs, builds, sells and services measurements systems for gas tanks on LNG ships, offshore storage, and land-based LNG terminals. Furthermore, the business supplies safety products, associated systems, solutions for LPG land-based storage and underground cavern storage.

The Wärtsilä Tank Control Systems business is situated in UK, Singapore and France.
