Casper Nørgaard

As an attorney, Casper has more than 20 years of experience advising companies, executives, and boards through complex decisions – ranging from business acquisitions and divestments to insolvency and restructuring, project development, and the strategic opportunities within commercial lease law.

From 2017 to 2023, Casper served as CEO of HjulmandKaptain, gaining extensive experience in business development and strategy. He brings this insight and his in-depth understanding of strategic leadership into his role as a professional board member for several companies and foundations. His advice combines legal expertise with a clear focus on commercial performance and long-term value creation. The same approach is reflected in his ESG advisory work, where he helps companies move beyond compliance and reporting towards ESG as a driver of strategic development.

In addition to his practical leadership experience, Casper has completed executive programmes in board governance for SMEs and green transition at Aarhus BSS, as well as the Leading Strategic Change programme at INSEAD.

Casper also has extensive experience acting as trustee in bankruptcy estates and compulsory dissolution cases as a court-appointed administrator at the District Court of Aalborg. He advises companies on insolvency, composition arrangements, and debt restructuring, ensuring a structured and balanced process that takes into account the interests of creditors, secured parties, and the future viability of the business.
